Material Mama

I am fully aware of the frivolosity of this post but it's my blog and I'll blog if I want to! Somewhere in Proverbs, God says, "A hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." I do not believe God intended that verse to apply to things like gorgeous golden gladiator sandals, but since God is the only God I have I thank Him for these pretties, since He is the Giver of all good gifts!

Gladiator sandals became 'cool' like 2 or 3 years ago and that is about how long I have wanted a pair. Because Mother's Day is Sunday and JW can be so thoughtful I am now the proud trend-following owner of gladiator sandals. I will probably not take them off until it's bedtime. Aren't they gorgeous? Who needs a pedicure when your shoes are gold? Now to get Eli a matching pair...

Last weekend was so fun! I got to play with Cora and her sister Penny, woof! Cora said she liked my funky pants. Then I had tamales at Ismael's baby shower. They were good but they got stuck in my mouth!

Then I found a boyfriend! Luis is going to be a big brother soon.

Then Mama and Dada took me to a Longhorn game. Mama said I cheered the loudest of all! See?

But cheering made me tired so we left a little early. Sorry Mack!

Then I saw my Hattie and Pops. I like to make them laugh.

My Mama is proud of me! And I'm proud of my Mama!

Mama's Birthday, Part 1

Mama and Dada love Terra Burgers because they are yummy and organic. Eat at Terra Burger! I like their sweet potato fries. We ate on campus...and there were many pigeons there. Oopsie! A pigeon went poopy on Dada's pelo! Mama said it was the best birthday ever!

Dada did not like pigeon poopy on his pelo.

Then we went playing in a courtyard!

There were millions of leaves for me!

Benches are not as fun as grass Mama.

Trees make me happy. I tore this branch off because it was so pretty. Can I have a tree in my room Dada?
