Mother’s Day is hard work!

Thanks to the Kemp School of Glue Stick Mastery, Eliana was thoroughly equipped to create beautiful Mother’s Day cards for her tia and grannies!

I had previously been unsuccessful at coaxing Eli to wield the glue stick, mainly because she didn’t like being “sticky”.

But after a few hours under Coco Mama’s tutelage, Eli is now a glue stick pro! I have never seen anyone work a stick of glue more diligently! Smile She glued up the back of the pics…

Then she placed each picture on the “family tree”…

Just right!

The glitter phase.  It is redundant to say Eli loved “working” with glue.  Her fingers became covered with blue glitter!   Thanks to my previous Kinder kiddos my tolerance for glitter is higher than your average mama.  However, by the time she was shaking them out in the air, I knew it was time to end the glitter phase!!

The finished result!  Sorry if your cards were stuck to the envelopes Mamas!  Next year we will make these much earlier.  We were so late making them that we had to stuff them with wet glue!

Eliana even put them in the mailbox herself. She was so proud of herself.  This little mama got spoiled all afternoon long for her diligence and hard work!
